The Local Employment Planning Council project relies on business and community leaders to help guide our project work. This is key to developing locally-responsive labour market resources for jobseekers, employers, students, educators, community and government to use.

CENTRAL PLANNING TABLE
To ensure that all of the project work completed by the Local Employment Planning Council (LEPC) is responsive to community needs, is of high quality and drives positive change in the local labour market. The Central Planning Table (CPT) will provide feedback and guide the project work of the Local Employment Planning Council, for the duration of the pilot. All project work must be consistent with the approved Business Plan.
CPT MEMBERSHIP
Members of the CPT are appointed by Workforce WindsorEssex to represent key stakeholders including employers, business associations, employment services, educational institutes, and community organizations. The CPT meets approximately 8-9 times per year.

INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT WORKING GROUP
The Industry Engagement Working Group (IEWG) is responsible for providing input and advice on LEPC activities related to employer engagement to help ensure the local labour market information, community partnerships, and service coordination outcomes of the LEPC pilot are achieved.
IEWG MEMBERSHIP
Members of the IEWG represent employers, business organizations, and industry associations in key industry sectors. The IEWG provides the employer perspective to the work and activities carried out by the LEPC. Members support projects by providing qualitative information on industry trends as well as connections to other local employers.

INTERGOVERNMENTAL WORKING GROUP
To ensure that all of the project work completed by the Local Employment Planning Council (LEPC) is responsive to community needs, is of high quality and drives positive change in the local labour market. The IWG is comprised of active participants who are responsible to provide support and guidance for the development and implementation of the project work for the duration of this phase of the LEPC. Working Group members will serve as ambassadors of the LEPC, fostering community awareness, support and participation in the continued use of Workforce WindsorEssex resources.
IWG MEMBERSHIP
Workforce WindsorEssex will appoint the members of the IWG to represent key government partners, business and economic development organizations, as well as experienced government relations professionals from key industry sectors, while welcoming advice from the Central Planning Table.
